OK People. You asked for it and you got it. Your Club has booked dinners for all the month of February. Come on down and try Chriss Backe’s food, and the other groups cooking. There is also breakfast on Sunday morning so, please, come support your Club.
Come down on Wednesday evening and see how many bowls of pasta Mike Halderman can eat at the Endless Pasta Bowl. The Club needs your help right now! Officers need to be in place for the new President taking over in June. We need you guys to step-up and help fill the spots of Vice President, Chaplain, and Conductor. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call me: (206) 778-1837 or email me at mkelly682003@yahoo.com. (Ed. Note: This is Mike’s actual email. Sorry.)
Fraternally yours,
Mike Kelly, Worthy President

R.E.A.C. Members’ dues of $3 were due in January. If you have not paid yet, do so at the February meeting. When you do, make sure we have your current address and telephone number. At our January meeting, nomination of officers was to take place but attendance was to low. Please attend the next meeting to do this. Bus trip for Tulalip Casino is scheduled for February 28th. Sign up at the Bar.
Check your February Calendar carefully for Sunday Breakfasts, Monday Tacos, 2nd Tuesday French Dip Sandwiches, and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Dinners. The Aerie, Auxiliary, R.E.A.C., Jim Souther, Georgia Porter, Mike Haldeman and Chris Backe are some of the cooks.

As a favor to current Worthy President Mike Kelly, I’m coming out of retirement from the Breeze to ask a very important favor of the Aerie. When I left office two years ago, our chairs for Officers and Trustees were fully staffed. That is no longer the case.
While there is likely an official term for this that I don’t recall, the bottom line is simple: If we don’t find three Aerie members to commit to being Officers and seven to commit to being Trustees by the end of April, 2012, AERIE 2141 CEASES TO EXIST, by decree of the Grand Aerie.
The time commitment is 1 to 2 hours each Wednesday for 2 to 3 years for meetings, whether you are a trustee or an officer. Variance is based on position. For Officers, you will eventually become President.
The emotional rewards greatly outweigh the time commitment. This is a great opportunity for the “younger” Aerie members in their 30’s and 40’s to take a position of influence in the direction of the Aerie for the next few years. With a membership in the hundreds, we shouldn’t have to scrape for ten. Yet here we are.
If you have any questions, please contact Worthy President Mike Kelly, Worthy Vice-President, Pete Acevez or Worthy Secretary, Don Anderson. The future of the Aerie depends on it.
