DESCRIPTION:Dancers can expect about half waltzes\, half a mix of nightclub 2-step\, foxtrot\, one-step\, Latin\, blues & swing\, with the occasional surprise. Come dance! \n\nMusic’s on by 7:30 PM every Monday; the fat part of the dance is about 8-10 PM.\nFriendly folks\, casual vibe\, dance with anyone (open role); come with or without a partner.\nDonations are on the honor system. $10 seems fair\, but don’t let money woes keep you away.\n\nWe dance in the intimate upstairs ballroom at Salmon Bay Eagles\, in Ballard; look for the FOE sign (Fraternal Order of Eagles). Go in the double door with steep stairs going up\, a bit to the right of the door heading into the bar downstairs. The ballroom floor is gorgeous old hardwood\, fast and very easy on feet & knees. \nThere’s street parking all around\, and parking’s easy on Monday nights. There’s a pay lot next door\, and the Swedish Ballard parking garage is a block north at 5300 Tallman Ave NW (street view).
