DESCRIPTION:Between Nov 11-14\, we’ll be one of several venues hosting bands for the Ballard Freakout Festival. Freakout Festival is a comprehensive sensory experience. SUMMARY:Halloween Open House
DESCRIPTION:Membership Drive on Saturday\, October 30th from 11am to 11pm. This open house is a free event open to the public so folks can meet members\, learn about what we do and hopefully become members as well. Families are welcomed and encouraged to bring their kids until 9pm. There will be new member incentives and proposer rewards during this event as well as a costume contest\, rafHle drawing\, food\, treats for kids\, games and karaoke. \nFor lunch between 11am to 3pm\, Marcia will be serving burgers with or without cheese for $6. Bacon burgers are $7 and you can get a side of potato salad for $1. \nBetween 5pm and 7:50pm\, dinner will be Marjie’s lasagna for $10 a plate. \nA costume winner will be chosen at 6pm followed by the costume raffle at 8pm and karaoke. \nFor those 21 and over\, there will be a Pub Crawl on Saturday as well. The evening will begin and end at the club. Details to come so be on the lookout. Put on your favorite costume and come celebrate Halloween with us!

Dinner starts at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. The group features local luminaries Stan Eike and Scott Lind on guitar (two of Dan’s favorites}\, the legendary Daryl Siguenza on drums\, Billy Reed on keys and bassist Howard Hooper.\n\nYou know these guys\, they’ve been the House Band since the days of Kevin Wallace and Jimmy Jean Tuttle (who even came up with their clever handle). Raven Humphries\, who was a founding member\, has since relocated to Idaho\, but will surely be there in spirit as this worthy SBE House Band reignites on the 17th of September. Be there!

DESCRIPTION:Dancers can expect about half waltzes\, half a mix of nightclub 2-step\, foxtrot\, one-step\, Latin\, blues & swing\, with the occasional surprise. Come dance! \n\nMusic’s on by 7:30 PM every Monday; the fat part of the dance is about 8-10 PM.\nFriendly folks\, casual vibe\, dance with anyone (open role); come with or without a partner.\nDonations are on the honor system. $10 seems fair\, but don’t let money woes keep you away.\n\nWe dance in the intimate upstairs ballroom at Salmon Bay Eagles\, in Ballard; look for the FOE sign (Fraternal Order of Eagles). Go in the double door with steep stairs going up\, a bit to the right of the door heading into the bar downstairs. The ballroom floor is gorgeous old hardwood\, fast and very easy on feet & knees. \nThere’s street parking all around\, and parking’s easy on Monday nights. There’s a pay lot next door\, and the Swedish Ballard parking garage is a block north at 5300 Tallman Ave NW (street view).
