SUMMARY:Halloween Open House
DESCRIPTION:Membership Drive on Saturday\, October 30th from 11am to 11pm. This open house is a free event open to the public so folks can meet members\, learn about what we do and hopefully become members as well. Families are welcomed and encouraged to bring their kids until 9pm. There will be new member incentives and proposer rewards during this event as well as a costume contest\, rafHle drawing\, food\, treats for kids\, games and karaoke. \nFor lunch between 11am to 3pm\, Marcia will be serving burgers with or without cheese for $6. Bacon burgers are $7 and you can get a side of potato salad for $1. \nBetween 5pm and 7:50pm\, dinner will be Marjie’s lasagna for $10 a plate. \nA costume winner will be chosen at 6pm followed by the costume raffle at 8pm and karaoke. \nFor those 21 and over\, there will be a Pub Crawl on Saturday as well. The evening will begin and end at the club. Details to come so be on the lookout. Put on your favorite costume and come celebrate Halloween with us!

DESCRIPTION:It’s a month of costumes\, music\, and fun! Starting October 1\, any member wearing a costume can purchase a rafWle ticket for $2 and enter to win a cash prize. RafWle tickets can be purchased all month long until Friday\, October 29. The drawing will be held on Saturday\, October 30 at 8pm to declare the winner. The winner will receive 50% of the proceeds and the rest will go to a local charity. Winner does not need to be present to win. This is a great opportunity to stop by the club in your fun garb\, grab a snack or drink and support your club and community. \nWe’re also hosting a costume contest during the open house at 6pm. Since it’s open to the public\, all kids and adults with a costume can enter. The winner will get cheers and a prize. This is a great chance to dress up the whole gang\, get some treats\, meet folks\, get a good meal and win prizes!

DESCRIPTION:Come join the festivities with us on Thursday\, Dec 16. First off\, we have Mama back in the kitchen to make her famous ribs to support dementia and Alzheimers research. Dinner starts at 5pm and then we kick off The Kevin Wallace Memorial Christmas Party featuring All Stars\, No Stripes. It’s sure to warm your heart and get you on your feet! The group features local luminaries Stan Eike and Scott Lind on guitar\, the legendary Daryl Siguenza on drums\, Billy Reed on keys and bassist Howard Hooper. They’ve been with us since the days of Kevin Wallace (for whom we are paying homage to) and Jimmy Jean Tuttle (who even came up with their clever handle). Show some love and come to the show!

Then at 8pm that evening\, Jimmy Bee & The Stingers will be jammin’ with some blues so you can make a full night of it. REAC is an acronym for Retired Eagles Activities Club. Its membership is made up of Aerie and Auxiliary members and participating spouses all at least sixty years of age or fifty-five years of age and retired. The purpose of REAC is to promote the participation of its members in and their enjoyment of leisure time\, social\, recreational\, cultural\, charitable and community service activities.
