Dancing by Tango Etcetera

| DonationDancers can expect about half waltzes, half a mix of nightclub 2-step, foxtrot, one-step, Latin, blues & swing, with the occasional surprise. Come dance!
- Music’s on by 7:30 PM every Monday; the fat part of the dance is about 8-10 PM.
- Friendly folks, casual vibe, dance with anyone (open role); come with or without a partner.
- Donations are on the honor system. $10 seems fair, but don’t let money woes keep you away.
We dance in the intimate upstairs ballroom at Salmon Bay Eagles, in Ballard; look for the FOE sign (Fraternal Order of Eagles). Go in the double door with steep stairs going up, a bit to the right of the door heading into the bar downstairs. The ballroom floor is gorgeous old hardwood, fast and very easy on feet & knees.
There’s street parking all around, and parking’s easy on Monday nights. There’s a pay lot next door, and the Swedish Ballard parking garage is a block north at 5300 Tallman Ave NW (street view).
