Join us on August 17, from 4 PM to 8 PM, as Joseph Miller and Dan Abernethy present a special Northwest tribute to the legendary Jerry Miller. Featured performers include Wail Bone, The Vududes, Billy Stapleton’s Powerhouse, and several guest artists. Wail Bone spotlights Jerry Miller’s son Joseph Miller, Dan Abernethy, who worked closely with Jerry and Don Stevenson, an original Moby Grape member.
This event celebrates the lasting musical legacy of Jerry Miller, the influential Moby Grape co-founder and guitarist who passed away at 81. Born in Tacoma in 1943, he was part of the PNW scene alongside Jimi Hendrix known for blending rock, blues, folk, and country. Praised by Eric Clapton as the “best guitar player in the world,” he influenced many artists from that era. Miller stayed true to his PNW roots and is remembered as a legendary and dedicated artist.
