Benefit for Ukrainian Children ft. Moon Candy

Donations will go to UNICEF to reach vulnerable children and families with essential services including health, education, protection, water and sanitation as well as life-saving supplies.

The music starts at 7pm with an acoustic set by Grimm & Barrett which features award-winning musician Kathryn Grimm and very our own talented Jimmy Bee followed by Moon Candy at 8pm.

Moon Candy is a local five-piece all female band featuring drummer Rosie Bell, vocalist Stacy Hanes, fiddle and guitar Lynn Knight, bass player Catherine McMahan and guitarist Lisa Pekar.Moon Candy is a rock/country band, based out of Seattle, Washington, made up of five female members. Moon Candy has evolved since 2015 into the groovin’ music celebration it is today. Each member’s musical background is diverse and our band explores that diversity with a variety of influences. From Neil Young to Dolly Parton, Nirvana, and our own MoonCandy original songs, the musical style of Moon Candy crosses traditional borders of music genre to explore music as a celebration not constrained by imaginary lines – styles of music performed, explored and lived inclusively. In the world of today, music is one of the few languages experienced by every culture and political affiliation and we feel that our connection, not our division, is felt in the notes, chords and rhythms of a good song, passionately played.
