Blue Healers is a roots duo playing stripped down originals and covers with grit. Don Forsyth is an innovative guitarist with deep blues influences and an unconventional expansive and expressive style. Diane Forsyth is a singer and bass player/songwriter with soul, folk, and country influences. Fresh off the heels of award season, Blue Healers made the semi-finals at the International Blues Challenge 2024 in Memphis Tennessee and won three WA Blues Society “2024 Best of Blues Awards” including Blues Duo, Female Vocalist, and New Blues Act. They released their full-length, noir/roots album Transmissions in March 2023 and the all blues EP Astro Blues in January 2024.

In addition to hosting local music, Salmon Bay Eagles help benefit many local and national charities including Medic One and the Ballard Food Bank. Plus your Eagles membership can be used at any of the thousands of Aerie’s across the United States and Canada. There are over 50 in Western Washington alone!
